Program Overview
Our Ecommerce Catalyst Program is a small group online program to empower Indigenous small business owners to build and manage their own Shopify ecommerce store through considered, hands-on training in a live group environment. This training is a blended experience where we work with participants to build their ecommerce store in real-time. Between each live session, participants will continue with scaffolded tasks to practise and cement learned skills, and engage in 1-1 mentoring with the trainers (Carmel and Adam). Each live session is recorded and made available for participants to re-watch at any time.
Program Inclusions
- The support of 2 expert ecommerce trainers (Carmel and Adam)
- Weekly 90-minute live group training session
- Weekly 30-minute 1-1 online mentoring session for each business
- Access to a private training group / resource repository for participants
- Ongoing access to recorded training sessions
- Customised handouts/documentation
- 3 hours of 1-1 support for each business to be used at a time of their choosing in the 3 months following the launch of their online store
- 12 months - Shopify basic plan subscription
- 12 months - Canva professional plan subscription
Program Cost
This program is be 100% funded by Indigenous Business Australia so it comes at no cost to participants.
How to apply
As each cohort will be limited to 6 businesses, the application process is as follows:
- February 17, 2023 – Applications for cohort 2 (via the Google form) close
- February 20, 2023 – All applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview
- February 20 - 24 2023 – 1-1 Interviews to occur, places in the program to be offered
- Week of March 6, 2023 – Cohort 3 commences
